This is a must visit. Lisa can be found welcoming guest and serving tables. Perfect scratch kitchen. Did not disappoint. We will be back soon.

We live in Pass-a-Grille Beach and stumbled across this place on a Sunday morning drive. Food was exceptional. Will definitely be back.

Hate to complain but the famous biskets and gravy was cold even the bisket where cold in the middle and the lady gave a big shpeel about them, not spicy and had no sausage flavor, my toast i think was bread left on the counter overnight and got stail not even a hint of brown. They set my bill down right away and tried taking it 4 times before we where even done eating, sausages where very grease and portions where pathetic except the pancakes they would please a giant if you wanted to eat that much dough

Great locally-owned gem. Owner rolls up her sleeves and marks alongside her staff. Big fan of the 'spiked' coffee, grits, and bloody mary. Hot cocoa arrived warm, not hot. Food was a little cold so may have been sitting for a bit before it was delivered, and server was a little slow. Some of our drinks didn't come till right before we got our meal. Kids love the chocolate chip pancakes, breakfast sandwich, and deep south.

Well, a few days ago I went on a “tour” around this area, wanting to explore where could I go with some friends for my birthday lunch, check out the atmosphere, menu, service, etc ... wishing everyone a good time. Unfortunately, the host, maybe the owner (I think it was her ??) rudely and somehow coldly recommended me to go outside. I was actually just tryed to get into a coffee shop and see how the coffee shop looks like, right ?! Ok. I’ve got out with her. Outside she grabbed a business card and gave it to me and told me I should go see everything on their website! Nice suggestion! I didn’t even try to take it after that really weird and awkward welcome gesture. Instead, she continued to instruct the waiters outside and acted like I didn't exist ! And of course, I left Lisas. For good! All the other restaurants I visited and all the employees in them I saw and talked to, were very kind, they talked to me pleasantly, gave me a menu, ideas and all the necessary information and suggestions, and I certainly felt very welcome there. Lisa, the attitude has to change, because the restaurant is not just a location, for me it is a much more - polite and much different attitude towards each guest (or especially if he talks with a strong accent where they feels even more uncomfortable). Decent restaurant is a lot more than you showed to me.

The same experience by other reviewers here at google reviews. The owner was very rude and obnoxious because we thought we could pick any table to sit since there was NOONE at the restaurant at the time when we got there. There was no one one to greet us while we waited so we thought we could pick any table. She waved her hands and my husband and yelled, needless to say we decided to leave. You could tell the service would get worse if we would stay to eat. I guess the owner has never heard of customer service, better yet, plain kindness.

Owner very rude!

Parents dining with kiddos beware of outside dining bring a fan and sunscreen, the umbrellas don’t tilt. It was our first time, we were asked inside or out. We opted outside. 3/4 seats were shaded by the umbrella at 9am when we sat down. By the time our food arrived it was almost 10:30 and the sun was directly above us. No shade. The food was okay, I wouldn’t say worth the wait nor did we know entering there would be a wait for food. The hostess and owner Lisa checked on us, which was nice but when I told her about the seating in the sun she said “Well, I asked you where you wanted to sit and it’s FL”. We paid far too much for sub-par breakfast and dining and will not be back. On another note our waiter was nice. Even though my daughter got the wrong order he tried to make up for it with some chocolate syrup, we still were charged for it and she ate none of it. He was nice though.

My husband & I came to Madeira Beach on our anniversary. What a great little nugget we found here at Lisa’s Cafe. Although, we didn’t eat dinner the brunch was to die for. We were waited on by Lisa herself & the pride she has for her establishment shows with her great attitude all the way into the kitchen. The first day we had an amazing corn beef hash & breakfast sandwich with a delicious Bloody Mary. The second day we had the bananas foster French toast & pancakes both excellent choices. Can’t wait to go back & also try her dinner menu! You WILL NOT be disappointed! She has a great service staff too.

Well, now I know why no one is talking about this place. The owner/manager is extremely rude. Granted, I did happen to come by while they were closed, although I did check the door for the hours which were not clearly posted. The owner yelled at me "we're closed, we're closed, we're closed!" and started to get up like she was going to chase me out! I can't speak for the food because I don't intend to come back.

Lisa was very rude , loud and obnoxious. Yelled loudly at my husband for everyone to hear to get a mask on while we were standing outside while waiting to be seated. Very uncalled for. She could have politely told him .We will not be back

Sunday brunch was fantastic! Everything was great but the crab cake Benedict and the cheesy grits stole the show. Bloody Mary is also very simple but tasty.

From the time we arrived, service was slow and not very pleasant. Standing waiting to be seated or acknowledged and all was said was what do you neeed... I said a table for 2 please and response was. well you have several tables in front of you, go wait outside, at that point I was ready to leave but my husband said to wait maybe they are just busy. Waited 10 minutes for drinks and another 10 minutes to place our order. Server was nice but way overwhelmed. We order 2 eggs with corned beef hash which was raved by the owner and was fresh and homemade, the portion was not even a handful and it was dry, and the prices are ridiculous for the portions. Won't be returning.

Food decent. However, hypocrites. Made us were masks to come in and then, the manager is is in the kitchen with no mask on. Same lady who then instructs my child to have a mask on to walk out. I’ll take my business elsewhere....

Great little place for breakfast.good service & fine food

We arrived for dinner around 530. We were the only people in the entire place. We stood around for almost 10 mins before a waiter came from the back and seated us. After looking at the menu, we were amazed at the high prices. For a “cafe” it was very expensive ($24-63 per entree) I would recommend coming here for lunch, but go somewhere else for dinner.

Really good food! You can taste quality in every bite!

We were lucky - we were seated right away! Even with a full house, the wait staff were very attentive. Our server, Mahlon was well versed on all the menu items and highlighted the fact that everything is cooked from scratch and made to order. I had the traditional eggs benedict and it was perfect! The coffee was full of flavor and fresh. Great selections and the portion sizes are larger than expected! Fun atmosphere!

Great food, outstanding service

Food was excellent!

First, we were told to park in overflow paid parking and we would he reimbursed. We did so and proceeded to wait 45 minutes for our table. Had problems with our food, never got refills on drinks. Then the waitress, who had a horrible attitude, spilled water on one of our party. They only reimbursed for 1 hour of parking not the 2 hours we were there. Finally the owner was parked in the only handicapped space with no sign of having a handicap permit. Very disappointing.

Food and service So So. Owner was appalled wife didn't like eggs Benedict sorta belittling comments. $350 for a coffee and hot tea. I didn't even get a refill. Food was cool like it had been setting. The other couple had water spilled on home waitress said lucky wasn't full? Not sorry! Must be owner's relative

Spent the weekend in Madeira Beach and had breakfast at Lisa’s twice. The service is fantastic and so is the food! They make everything from scratch so it takes a little but for the food to come out but it’s worth the wait. We will be back! Everything that works there is amazing. Lisa the owner is great and our waitress both days Sarah was amazing!

Breakfast was very good but waited iver 40 minutes for it. Don't think I will go for breakfast again. :)

Great brunch. Very tasty portions of Lisa's homemade sausage gravy and biscuits, homemade corned beef hash, and homefries. Plus, Lisa actively serves and interacts with her patrons!
